Colorado Envelope, Inc. was founded in May 1995 by Frank Mozeika and Don Polder, Sr., as they saw a need in Colorado for an envelope manufacturer to provide printers in the region with quality die cut and conversion for their printed stock. Don brought 35 years of envelope manufacturing experience and Frank brought his business and accounting expertise.
They set up shop in a small commercial space in Broomfield, Colorado, with a couple of pieces of equipment and two employees. From the beginning, their business philosophy has been speed, accuracy, and integrity and remains their standard to this day.
Early in the business, Don’s sons, Don Jr. and Jeff, began working and learning the envelope industry and upon their father’s retirement in 2000 were able to transition into their roles as owners in customer support and supervising the manufacturing operations.
Over the years the business steadily grew and necessitated several moves to accommodate the demand of their customers. As new equipment has been acquired to meet the diversified needs of their customers, they have also grown to 15 employees, which represent over 200 years of envelope manufacturing experience.
As competitors have come and gone, Colorado Envelope has remained steadfast in the envelope manufacturing industry and continues to grow by providing their customers with extensive knowledge and superior customer service as well as getting the job done on time.
